The city of Frostburg was one of the first towns to be built on the "National Road" (US 40). The city is a smaller one and well known for its small city vibe and many city activities. These include things such as fairs and parades, which are great ways for the community to get to know each other and to interact.
The city has a population of a little over 9,000 people. Because of the college here, Frostburg has many things to do. The population grows during the school year and thins out a bit in the summer but there are fun activities all year round for both part-time and permanent residents. It has a lot of available housing, too, which means that realtors are generally trying their best to sell homes here. This gives you a lot more bargaining power as the buyer and allows you to try to talk down the price. The city of Frostburg has a lot of space that's filled with rolling hills and plenty of trees.
